RESAAS Declaration of Principles

We at RESAAS take our principles very very seriously and specifically how these principles will reflect upon our valued customers. Just as the fictional character Charles Foster Kane wrote in his “Declaration of Principles” on the front page of his newly acquired New York Inquirer newspaper, so do we.

His principles were a clear and concise declaration of exactly what Kane””s customers should always expect from the Inquirer. While Kane had many faults, his promise of what one should always expect from a service was a noble one. At RESAAS we couldn””t agree more.

So henceforth we would like to declare…

“That RESAAS will never allow advertising from a competing agent or property to appear on another agent’s page.”

Your content and listings will not be displayed next to competing agents or listings. Promotion of your listings will be controlled by you.

“That RESAAS will always prohibit – and will use security measures to deter – third party scraping of an agent’s content.”

Content in the form of listings, photos, status updates and other information is released under your complete control.

“That RESAAS will never resell an agent’s listing information to other third party competing aggregators.”

We will not sell your valued listing information unless explicitly directed or approved by the agent.

“That RESAAS will always stay true to its mantra that our service is all about the professional, to empower the professional, to connect the professional, and to bring forth the professional’s content and knowledge to consumers.”

In other words, to help professional knowledge meet consumer needs like never before.
